WE ARE RUFF PUFF® AND WE MAKE BLOODY BELTIN’ BROWNIES (AND BLONDIES).
We pride ourselves on our strong northern roots and emphasis on flavour. We handmake each batch with the same care and love that our mothers, and their mothers before them, and their mothers before them, put into baking – perhaps with a little more precision than those gals.
On a trip to New York where they embarked on a disappointing Manhattan-wide hunt for the perfect, gooey, chewy, fudgy brownie (they also found the time to get married between bites) husband and husband team John and Paul decided it was high time to bring Ruff Puff® to life. All the brownies stateside were too cakey, and as John always says: cakey, cakey does not a brownie makey.
John also believed that perfect gooey, chewy, fudgy brownies and blondies could be partnered with his formal Le Cordon Bleu patisserie training, to create something familiar, but fabulous. Ruff Puff® was born. We have one mission: to make delicious bakes, with total care and completely from scratch. From our salted caramel sauces to our cinnamon swirls to our jellies and gels, we spend time crafting our stunning squares, and package them carefully, to be posted out to you.
